Product description
CRS112-8P-4S-IN is an eight-port Gigabit PoE Router/Switch that offers various PoE-Out power options. In addition to passive PoE, it also offers 802.3af/at standards on all eight ports. In addition to the metal ports, you can use 4 optical SFP ports to connect devices to the network at speeds of up to 1Gbps.
Power PoE Out
CRS112-8P-4S-IN has 2 power connectors on its back. The first 18 - 28V connector is used to connect the included DC adapter and via CRS it is then possible to power other devices connected to the PoE ports using passive PoE. Optionally, a power supply with a voltage in the range of 48 - 57V can be purchased, then the CRS112 enables devices supporting 802.3af/at standards to be powered via PoE ports.
For 24V output power, it is sufficient to connect the included power adapter. If you need a 48V power supply, you need to purchase a power source, e.g. GM-4820. If you need to connect a mix of devices that require both types of power, you need to have both power supplies connected at the same time!
