Product description
USW-Lite-16-PoE is a Gigabit PoE L2 Switch from Ubiquiti in a desktop design with a maximum PoE budget of 45W. A manageable switch with 16 Gigabit metal ports and a total throughput of 16 Gbps. Only 8 ports of 16 support PoE+ powering 802.3af/at with a maximum power of 30W/port. Thanks to its low PoE budget, the switch is more suitable as a data device with power to a few devices at the edge of the network.
Management via UniFi Controller
The major difference between the UniFiSwitch and EdgeSwitch series switches is in management - WebGUI management of EdgeSwitch switches is replaced by the UniFi Controller on UniFi Switch models.
