USW-Flex-Mini is a tiny 5-port Gigabit switch managed by UniFi Controller from Ubiquiti Networks in a desktop version with the first port supporting PoE In.
PoE IN over Eth1
Its biggest advantage is the Gigabit POE IN on port #1 for easy network expansion even in places where it is not possible to build an electrical outlet. The switch can be powered via active PoE (802.3af/at) and passively using a 44 - 57V adapter. Switch can be also powered via a 5V / 1A USB-C adapter.
Management over UniFi Controller
The crucial difference between UniFi and EdgeSwitches is in management - WebGUI management switches is only in EdgeSwitch models. UniFiSwitch is controlled only by UniFi controller.
