Product description
The Ubiquiti UniFi AC In-Wall-PRO is a very small and discreet 802.11ac UAP concealed installation device. It is a 3x3 MIMO 2.4GHz and 3x3 MIMO 5GHz Acess Point with up to 450 + 1300 Mbps and 802.11a/b/g/n/ac standards. UAP-AC-IW-PRO is designed for offices and hotels. The antenna system includes 1 built-in antenna with 5dBi gain for the 2.4GHz band and 6.5dBi for the 5GHz band. It also fully supports roaming when passing associated clients between APs. Furthermore, as far as the interface is concerned, the device contains 3x 10/100/1000Mbps LAN with PoE IN on the back port and PoE Out on the on of the bottom ports with PoE standard 802.3af.
Simple installation
A great advantage is the very fast and easy installation with 2 screws above each other with a spacing of 83mm, primarily intended for American plastic boxes of dimensions (W x H x D): 57.2 x 95.3 x 85.7 mm.
Unit central management
UniFi APs doesn't have own web GUI and you manage them via UniFi Controller, which you can download on UBNT websites here: http://www.ubnt.com. Or you can manage UAP devices using UniFi Cloud Key which has UniFi Controller preinstalled. Additional benefit is fact that UniFi Controller software is free of costs and includes advanced functions without limitations.
