New features on e-shop - offer system, delivery dates and more

With great pleasure we would like to introduce you some new features on our e-shop. All the news is definitely not for everyone, but we believe that everyone will find something for themselves. Let's introduce three new features.

1. Status of items in orders

We've added a "status" column to orders, which shows whether the item is already picked up or ready to be picked up, or the expected delivery date. This function will be appreciated especially by customers who work with larger orders (20 items+) and therefore we believe that the novelty will be a great benefit for a substantial part of our customers. At the same time, it is possible to click on the detailed display of recycling and royalties on the column header. Simple and clear.

2. Selection of selected items

We primarily invented this feature to make it easier to share specific products with customers on the front page, but there may be situations where customers will also appreciate such a feature, such as when sharing with teammates.

How to do it?

1. Click the comparison icon in any product category or directly on the product.

   

2. When comparing products at the top of our page you can click on rectangular icon next to compare. Thanks to it, you will see a list of choosen products like this.

   

3. Offering system

The most interesting at the end :). Whether you are installing camera systems or cabling a house, you almost always need to make a price offer for the other side (your customer), where everything is written on paper. We've been thinking for a long time about how to implement this along with other things. This feature is built on the contents of your cart, where you add and remove items as needed. Then you can add/edit additional items such as manual work, your margin, description of offer and items. After that you can export to PDF . The disadvantage may be that such an offer is not saved anywhere, it disappears together with the contents of the basket.

What does the offering system allow?

• Margin settings
• Add your own material or work
• Set the validity of the offer
• Edit contact information
• Add a note to offer and to each product line
• Edit the number of pieces or delete any product
• Export price offer to PDF under your company's name without any affiliation with Discomp
• All changes take place in real time on the client side without unnecessarily sending data to our server
