The Huawei OptiXstar K562 is a wireless router that perfectly complements ONT units in bridge mode or can be used as a Wi-Fi repeater with an existing Huawei wireless router. Supporting the WiFi 6 standard, the router achieves a maximum modulation rate of up to 3000Mbps (2402 Mbps in the 5GHz band and 574 Mbps in the 2.4GHz band). The wireless section supports Beamforming, MU-MIMO, Band Steering, and more, all backed by modern WPA3 encryption. The router features 3x Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000Mbps), each of which can function as LAN or WAN based on automatic detection. As a repeater, the K562 is compatible with the Mesh network, allowing it to be wirelessly paired with other Huawei products to create a complete home network with a single SSID, where you can utilize the Roaming function. Power is supplied by a 12V/1A DC adapter, with a maximum router power consumption of 12W.

With its simple and elegant design, it fits into any interior. The white chassis with rounded edges and a small Huawei logo on the front is complemented by an LED indicator on the top of the router, which informs about the device's status. The Ethernet ports are located on the back, along with a button for WPS or factory reset function.

The Huawei OptiXstar K562 uses built-in artificial intelligence (eAI) to enhance online experiences for various added-value services such as gaming, education, and teleconferencing. The router can automatically optimize network parameters such as channel, power, and band, depending on the current traffic demands. It can also detect and eliminate interference from other Wi-Fi sources, ensuring a stable and smooth connection. Additionally, the router supports the Quality of Service (QoS) function, allowing traffic prioritization for specific applications or devices.
