Product description

The Huawei eKitEngine AP162E is a compact and powerful indoor access point (AP) designed according to the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard, providing fast and reliable wireless connectivity with data transfer speeds of up to 2.975 Gbps. It supports simultaneous transmission on 2.4 GHz (2x2 MIMO) and 5 GHz (2x2 MIMO) frequencies, enabling smooth connections for multiple devices. With its slim design, it is ideal for installation in hotel rooms, hospital rooms, or small and medium business offices.

This access point is equipped with one Gigabit uplink port and one Gigabit downlink port, providing flexible connectivity options. It can be mounted into a wall box, ensuring discreet installation. Its small size and easy installation make the AP162E an excellent choice for quickly establishing an indoor wireless network.

The management and maintenance of the AP162E can be done locally through EasyWeb or a local controller (WAC), or remotely via the HUAWEI eKit App and SNC platform. This makes deployment and management of access points simple and efficient, significantly easing network operation and maintenance.

The MU-MIMO technology allows simultaneous data transmission to multiple devices, maximizing radio spectrum utilization and enhancing network performance in high-density device environments. Support for 160 MHz bandwidth and 1024-QAM modulation enables speeds of up to 575 Mbps (2.4 GHz) and 2.4 Gbps (5 GHz), providing fast and stable connectivity for all users.

Advanced security features include authentication and encryption methods such as WPA3, WPA2, and 802.1X, ensuring maximum data protection in your wireless network. The AP162E is therefore not only a fast but also a secure solution for modern wireless networks.
