LTU-Rocket is a PtMP AP unit for the 5GHz band with two RSMA female connector for Wireless sector antenna, one SMA female connector for GPS antenna and proprietary LTU wireless technology that is not based on the 802.11 standard protocol can deliver real TCP/IP speeds 600Mbps+ (up to 1Gbps+ with future fw), modulation up to 1025 QAM (up to 4096 QAM with future fw) and higher spectral efficiency 21.2 bps/Hz, twice the 802.11AC standard!

LTU technology allows you to set different transmission (Tx) and receive (Rx) frequencies to avoid interference, increasing your network's throughput.
Compatibility
LTU is a completely new platform based on proprietary technology, which doesn't use 802.11 protocol, making it incompatible with 802.11n and 802.11ac devices. For that reason it is NOT compatible with airMAX M5 nor with airMAX 5AC.
On the other hand, although LTU is based on airFiber technology, it uses a different protocol for communication, making it incompatible with other 5GHz airFiber products such as AF-5X or AF-5/5U.

In addition to its own web management, LTU products are also supported by UNMS software for central management and management of Ubiquiti devices.
