L2 Gigabit Ethernet switch ECS4210-28T firmy Edge-Core je osazen 24x RJ-45 10/100/1000 metalickými porty a 4x SFP porty pro optický up-link. Tento switch je bez větráků je tedy možné ho umístit do kanceláři či prostor, kde je kladen důraz na omezení hlučnosti zařízení. Výkonný a cenově dostupný switch ECS4210-28T je určený především pro podnikové sítě nebo pro ISP poskytovatele jako access / přístupový switch v sítích typu FTTB.

Switch ECS4210-28T nabízí podporu VLAN, Q-in-Q, multicast videa (IGMP Snooping), Spanning Tree protokoly (STP/RSTP/MSTP), agregaci linek (802.1ad LACP), řízení kvality služeb (QoS, ACL, rate-limiting) a sadu bezpečnostních funkcí (IEEE 802.1x, RADIUS authentication, IP Source Guard). Správa switche je z webového prohlížeče, pomocí příkazů Telnet či SNMP (v1, v2c, v3) nebo přes sériovou konzoli (RS-232). Podporovaný je také IPv6 management.
