Product description
The AH60WB is a 6 GHz and 5 GHz sector "horn" antenna from RF elements, featuring a 60° asymmetric beam angle, 17 dBi gain, and a TwistPort connector. This antenna offers a perfect combination of features to address the key weaknesses of today’s mainstream sector antennas.
TwistPort Connector - Practical and Lossless
The TwistPort connector is practically lossless and revolutionizes established standards with its ease of use. There are no RF connectors or RF cables that cause significant signal losses. Compared to commonly used coaxial cables and connectors, the loss on TwistPort is almost immeasurable. Connecting and disconnecting is brilliantly simple and can be done with one hand.
No Side Lobes
The AH60WB asymmetric antenna does not emit side lobes, focusing energy into a single main beam. This is one of the most important features in wireless networks. Thanks to these unique radiation characteristics, the antenna picks up significantly less noise compared to existing mainstream sector antennas. Noise issues are directly related to the side lobes of an antenna—an unavoidable aspect in most competing products. The AH60WB behaves differently, being virtually "deaf" outside the main beam.
Coverage Without Dead Zones
Traditional sector antennas have a specific coverage pattern—if the access point (AP) is too high, nearby clients suffer from poor signal quality. As the saying goes, "under the candlestick, it’s darkest." Asymmetric sector antennas emit signals with a circularly flattened beam shape. As a result, the coverage of asymmetric sector antennas is nearly without dead zones, satisfying clients located close to the AP.
Excellent Scalability
Unique radiation characteristics, minimal side lobes, and extremely low back radiation allow multiple antennas to be placed at one point or multiple independent points to be built. This helps distribute the load across individual APs, increasing speeds for individual clients.
Platform Support
For third-party products, such as MikroTik, Ubiquiti, or Cambium, RF elements offers a wide range of adapters that enable easy connection of these devices to the TwistPort connector. This allows any unit to be moved to another antenna with a single click, without screwing in pigtails.
